George Katakalidis, restaurateur and founder of Daphne’s Greek Cafe, the largest fast-casual Greek restaurant chain in the United States, plans to open EXY restaurant and lounge. Located at the corner of 6th & F Streets, EXY will feature leading edge Greek cuisine, premium cocktails, and an extensive wine collection.
EXY will celebrate its Grand Opening in December 2007, according to Katakalidis. “Our Grand Opening event will be a representation of what the EXY scene will be for years to come; sleek, sexy and metropolitan hip. Our 6th Street location places us at the center of the vibrant Gaslamp district, where ‘Chic Greek’ will fit in perfectly.”
