There are lounges, and then there is the Marin Lounge. Located below Tesoro Restaurante & Taberna in the Gaslamp Quarter, the Marin Lounge offers a super hip setting for those looking to unwind after dinner. (The Marin Lounge is also available for those whose day require them to skip dinner altogether and go straight for the margaritas and music.)
Descend the staircase and immerse yourself in the chic underground culture of the Marin Lounge. Mood lights change nightly, enveloping the windowless area with any combination of all the colors on the rainbow spectrum. The full bar specializes in only the highest quality tequilas and offers an eclectic mix of drinks like a Jamaica martini (vodka with hibiscus flower juice) or a mango mojito. Or for the Mexico savvy – a michelada (any beer, preferably Corona, with fresh lime juice served over ice in a salted glass).
Dj’s and live music entertain guests on select nights, as do the drink specials, lighting and fun drink menu. Happy hour is available from 9 to 11 pm. It’s a Spanish lesson and a night out on the town rolled into one. The Marin Lounge beckons. |
