Located next door to the PB Fire Station, near the corner of Mission & Grand, The Firehouse American Eatery & Lounge will come to the RESCUE of Pacific Beach this summer - June 2007.
Enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner or simply sip cocktails from our huge heated, second-level outdoor patio overlooking the Pacific Ocean . Whether you're in flip flops strolling in from the sand, need a chic place to have a glass of wine after work, or are looking for an alternative to Downtown, The Firehouse is 911 for the soul. Bridging the gap between ultra swanky Miami style and the warm cozy vibe of Pacific Beach, the Firehouse is your place to enjoy all San Diego has to offer: Sun, Sand, & an Ocean View. With nearly 40 spaces, parking is not an issue, so drive or ride your beach cruiser there's complementary valet for both.
First Level: Start the day off right with the most important meal- BREAKFAST - from the Country Scramble, a Firehouse Cafe original, to the Tofu Wrap, our diverse menu will satisfy any family, surfer, or hung-over night owl. Our lunch and dinner menus also offer distinct culinary flair, from the fresh Firehouse Ahi Burger to the Authentic Fish Tacos to the Grilled Salmon, the food at The Firehouse promises to be unparalleled in Pacific Beach. Awaiting a table? Then enjoy a "build our own Bloody Mary" or Cappuccino (by Cafe Moto) at the bar beautifully back lit by a red hue reminiscent of the old 1930's fire trucks.
Second Level: Enjoy our spacious roof top patio complemented with a spacious 25 foot covered bar, 42" high definition flat screens, and a sound system that warms the heart. Grab a table and treat yourself to a Firehouse Sweet Tea in our lush outdoor lounge seating, featuring double wide chaise lounges and an amazing view of the ocean. Once night falls you will be protected from the wind by 6 foot tall uninterrupted beautiful glass railings, gas heaters, an elegant fire pit bar - all bathed in the Bali-inspired up-lit red umbrellas & Sky Bar influenced candle boxes.
Finally, for the true tap beer connoisseur, beer at The Firehouse is "the coldest at the beach", as we have invested in a special tap system pouring each beer at exactly 32 degrees. For the avid sports fan enjoy all sporting events including NFL Sunday Ticket on HD TVs and hear it on a "better than Bose" sound system - the only way to watch the game, news in morning, or scrolling art at night. So lean back, enjoy the ocean view from either level, and snack on the mouth-watering food and tempting cocktails as you enjoy beach side lounging at its best.
